Past editions took place in Madrid (2004), Utrecht (2006), Southampton (2008) and Tours (2010). The organizing committee of the edition in Madrid were Linda Escobar, Anna Gavarró and Vicenç Torrens; the plenary speakers were Luigi Rizzi and Kenneth Wexler. The organizing committee of the edition in Utrecht were Sergio Baauw, Jacqueline van Kampen, Manuela Pinto and Joke de Lange; the invited speakers were Larisa Avram, Anne Christophe and Ludovica Serratrice. The edition of Southampton was organized by María Arche, Laura Domínguez and Pedro Guijarro; the plenary speakers were John Grinstead, Aafke Hulk, Antonella Sorace and Elisabeth van der Linden. The organizing committee of the edition in Tours were Phillippe Prévost, Laurie Tuller, Sandrine Ferré, Martin Haiden, Maureen Scheidnes, Rasha Zebib and Cécile Monjauze; the plenary speakers were Adriana Belletti, Maria João Freitas and Ianthi Tsimpli. After the first edition of this workshop, a volume was published from selected papers: Torrens & Escobar (eds.) (2006) The acquisition of syntax in romance languages. Amsterdam: John Benjamins. Another volume was edited after the second edition: Baauw, van Kampen & Pinto (eds.) (2007) The Acquisition of Romance Languages. LOT Occasional Series 8, LOT, Utrecht. After the edition in Southampton, the following volume was published: P. Guijarro-Fuentes, L. Domínguez (eds.) (2010) New Directions in Language Acquisition: Romance Languages in the Generative Perspective. Newcastle: Cambridge Scholars Publishing. A volume is being prepared now from the fourth edition of the workshop.
